Caran D'Ache Oil Pastel Review
My three page review of Caran D'Ache Oil Pastels has been published in Leisure Painter magazine. It dives into texture, technique and creative possibilities- grab a copy if you can!

Exploring
In this review for the Leisure Painter, I explored the expressive potential of Caran D'Ache Wax Oil Pastels. I was impressed by how well they blended, especially when using a blending stump or a solvent such as Gamsol. The pastels performed consistently across a variety of surfaces, making the process of experimentation both enjoyable and insightful.

Mark Making
I discovered the ability to scratch back through layers of wax pastel using fine tools, revealing the colour beneath with surprising clarity - a technique quite distinct from my experience with chalk pastels. This opened up exciting possibilities for mark-making and layering.
