ADULT PASTEL WORKSHOPS

These workshops are an ideal introduction to using the very versatile medium of soft pastels. Suitable for beginners through to the more advanced, I teach a step by step guide on how to produce a portrait from start to finish. There is no need to be confident in drawing as we usually trace an outline to work with, my aim is to teach you how to layer colour, gain depth and achieve realistic detail. There is no pressure, it’s a fun and sociable way to spend 3 hours of ‘you’ time….why not give it a try?

CHILDREN'S PASTEL WORKSHOPS 2026

A perfect way to encourage and inspire confidence to children 7+ years of age. We create a 'masterpiece' from start to finish using a step by step teaching method. Using a traced outline, the children will learn how to create depth and realism using shading, tone and layering of colour.
