'DOUGAL'

When I first moved up to Oakham, my husband took me to an event at Rutland Show Ground and immediately upon entering, I spotted this artist's display. I remember seeing pet portraits and one of a beautiful child. I was so taken aback by the quality of this artist's work that I asked for a business card, promising myself that one day I would get a portrait done of Dougal, and that card sat in my desk drawer for, probably, the best part of 3 years.

We very sadly had to say goodbye to our beautiful boy almost and so I immediately got in touch with Andrea to ask whether we could commission her to do a portrait for us and here is the finished work.

What can I say ... words simply cannot do justice to the amazing talent of this lady. Andrea has completely and utterly brought our Dougal back to life for us, to the point that we feel we can almost reach out and touch his beautiful soft curls again and those gorgeous fluffy paws, not to mention his eyebrows!

What a wonderful tribute to such an amazing dog, our gorgeous Dougie Bear lives again thanks to you, Andrea
