For larger groups I teach a step by step method to guide people through the stages of producing a pastel painting from start to finish.  They learn how to use the pastels and practice methods, tips and techniques on how to create realistic fur detail, eyes and skin tone.

 DEMONSTRATIONS

I am often asked to demonstrate to art groups so that I can share techniques, tips and answer questions on how to produce realistic portraits of both animals and people.

They typically last for up to 2 hours with a break for refreshments.

​

Researching the internet and reading books is very handy but there's nothing to beat watching someone actually at the easel!
