A warm welcome to my website.  I’m a professional portrait artist and have been teaching, demonstrating and doing commissions for people for the past 18 years.  I’m largely self taught...having a go, making mistakes and learning from others has been my recipe for successful portraits!

I run a number of workshops throughout the year to inspire creativity, encourage confidence and promote mental wellbeing. Just an hour or two, captivated by artwork, can work wonders for the soul!

This art workshop is an ideal introduction to using the very versatile medium of soft pastels.  Suitable for beginners through to the more advanced, I teach a step by step guide on how to produce a snow leopard portrait from start to finish.  There is no need to be confident in drawing as we trace an outline to work with, my aim is to teach you how to layer colour, gain depth and achieve realistic fur detail.  There is no pressure, it’s a fun and sociable way to spend 3 hours of ‘you’ time….why not give it a try?
Price £30 (all materials included)
Time 10am-1pm
Venue Cottesmore Community Hall

A perfect way to encourage and give confidence to children 7-11 years of age.  We create a masterpiece from start to finish using a step by step teaching method.  Using a traced outline, the children will learn how to create depth and realism by shading, contrast and layering of colour. The event will take place at Cottesmore Community Centre, 23 Main Street, Cottesmore, LE15 7DH from 10am until 12 noon.  Cost is £25 and includes all materials and refreshments.  Please call 07590 678468 or message via this website.
